Monkey proudly recorded this himself from an old 45 rpm he owns. In fact, this was the first record he ever purchased! Then he discovered pier-to-pier and frankly, he hasn't bought any 45s since. Hands down, Opice considers these the finest lyrics the Tornadoes ever wrote. Listen carefully. A certain amount of artifacting got added to the recording as it converted from analogue to MP1. Monkey thinks they enhance the overall affect of the tune's spaceyness. [They also render the sample unworthy of anything close to "intellectual piracy."] |

Many people associate this hit with Harry Belafonte, not Monkey. Go figure! To give you some idea how great the song is, it seems everyone recorded it in 1957. That includes the Tarriers, Fontane Sisters, Steve Lawrence, and Sarah Vaughan. Monkey nearly wore-out the MP1 playing it over and over on his pseudo-Pod. You may notice it tends to skip at times because of excessive appreciation. He says, "It's just like 'scratchin'!" |

Me Myself & I by Beyoncé | No sample available because Monkey is afraid of gangsta rappers. |
The Monkey's Tale by Dolly Parton | No sample available at this time because Monkey is trying to get Ms. Parton's permission and she doesn't seem to work 9 to 5. |
